The owner of a medical marijuana dispensary in Lansing was charged with violating the Michigan Election Law for allegedly giving some of her product to people who agreed to register to vote. According to a press release from the Attorney General’s office, if convicted the dispensary owner, Shekina Pena, would face a $500 fine and 90 days in jail.
